The basic design of all GCT rotor blades differs substantially from that of other manufacturers, and this represents just such a milestone.
The introduction of a UV-resistant 2-pack paint finish was also an aim which we pursued doggedly over a long period.
GCT have introduced an improved epoxy resin which raised the quality level once more. The development of various types of vertical spar web construction resulted in blade characteristics which delighted the 3-D pilots in particular. However, the final touch is GCT´s latest achievement: the designer paint finish.
Most everyday blades are white, but we wanted to offer the helicopter pilot the chance to obtain rotor blades with an attractive colour scheme and design. This painted finish is applied in the mould using computer-cut masking films.
The surface quality and colour brilliance of these blades are unique, making the blade a visual upgrade to any model helicopter as well as providing the essential upthrust.
